Tonye Patrick Cole or Simply, Tonye Cole has an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion dollars.

He’s the founder of The Sahara Foundation, and an indigene of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria.

He studied Architecture and Engineering at the University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the course.

He was birthed on the 11th of January, 1967 as Tonye Patrick Cole.

Mr. Tonye Cole serves as one of the board members of Enactus Nigeria, Bloomberg TV Africa, Digital Jewels, and Atlas Mara.

Tonye Cole also holds a Portuguese certificate from the University of de Brasilia.

In 1990, he reportedly started his enterprise as a trained architect with Grupo Quartro.

Tonye Cole is also a graduate from the Business School at Harvard University.

He cofounded the Sahara Energy Resource alongside Ade Odunsi and Tope Shonubi in 1996, and had served as Director of Operations at the Nigerian office of Empresa Sul Americana de Montagens.

In 2017, he won a United Kingdom’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and he’s a member of the World Economic Forum’s Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI).

He’s also a member of the Private Sector Advisory Group of the United Nations Sustainable Development Fund (UN SDG-F).

Tonye Cole is the son of Patrick Dele Cole – the ex Nigerian Ambassador to Brazil, and Managing Director of the Daily Times Newspaper. Tonye Cole is married, and he has three grownup children.
